If you can catch Canadian MX on SpeedVision right now, it's an unbelievable mud pit. Guys are down everwhere, and only a few actually finished the race. Some can't even make it up the main hill.

Check it out!!!

I just watched that at a buddy's house on the big screen TV. Freaking incredible! They called the second 250 moto for weather, that's how muddy it was! Unreal!

That was awesome, especially the big step-up. I hope the Canadian series continues on SpeedTV's lineup next year. It's good racin'.

It was so wet, when they cancelled the wnd 250 motto Blair Morgan took a snowmobile around the track. That was pretty cool. How about the interviews after the 2nd 125 moto? All the muddy faces from taking off the gog's during the race. The winner falls down 3 times!! Those guys are good.

It was pretty gut-wrenching to watch. I've never seen such wet, muddy, and rutted conditions. The best part: When a handful of guys couldn't make it up the steep step-up hill, and laid down next to their bikes on the face of it, watching the other guys jump through / in-between them, and then fight their way up the rest of the muddy hill!

I can't imagine getting that amount of mud and gritty water in the face, mouth, an eyes, and still going WFO....

I would have liked to see how RC or Bubba would have handled the course in those conditions.

I did a search on www.tvguide.com for motocross-related shows in my local area, and printed out the schedule for the next 2 months.

Some armchair riding during the winter months....

Yeah, I was glued to the screen. That step-up was crazy! How Fisher got going again after he landed in the mid-hill quagmire is beyond me. And the 250 class battle between Morgan, JSW, and Dube was awesome. Best MX I've seen all year!

And how'd like the cocky mid-air whip Dube pulled on one of the downhill jumps just before being passed!

That was sweet. I've recorded the re-air last night and can't wait to get home to watch it again. That downhill looked mega steep from one angle!

Smit-Dog, I saw it too, but did he say he meant to do it. It almost seemed to me that he was accelerating so hard that his back end slide sideways in the mud on the face of the jump. I dont know why anyone would do that when they are even with two other guys.

No, I don't actually know for sure if he meant to do it. This was the moto before all the rain, but it could have very well been due to his rear end sliding out a little on the face of the jump. I don't know the personality of the this guy, but it seemed from my angle that he was just taunting the other guys on. Probably not on purpose, as the three of them were balls out at that point.

Great action either way!

It looked to me like it was on purpose, he also gave a good look-back at the same time as to say "check my rear tire out", unfortunately it cost him some time and he got passed.  Still, it was awesome.  It was a fun race to watch, flaggers getting run over, camera men running for dear life, and that step up looked like a lot of fun too.  Never would I throw a fit on TV, like a little poser and throw my bike down. :)

I like how on the second 125 moto was on, the announcer says "I can smell the clutches burning from here!" As the little 125's were struggling up the hill. :)

Thanks for the link Fred! I don't follow any of the series, and am not up on the riders, but it sure is exciting to watch.

Do these guys ever go up against the riders on the US circuit? And why are USA guys riding in the Canadian MX series?

That was probably the best racing that i've seen in a very long time! Did you notice that all the winners were on Ktm's. Come to think of it, most of them were on ktms. And none of the pack had any 4 strokers at all.

Not to take anything away from KTM, but here were the top 5 finishes in each class. I wouldn't say most were on KTM.

125 Class
1 - KTM
2 - Suzuki
3 - KTM
4 - Honda
5 - Suzuki

250 Class
1 - Honda
2 - Honda
3 - Honda
4 - Yamaha
5 - Honda

Check out the next race in the series next Tuesday, 12/17 at 9PM!

Excellant racing and very cool tracks! definitely worth tracking down TV schedules.

Smitdog, some of the guys do race in US races. Blair Morgan won the 4 stroke class at last years US OPen Supercross (I am pretty sure) and a couple of years back Doug Dubach went up there and cleaned house, that year was some of the best racing I ever saw. Jon Sebastian Roy raced supercross last year also. I dont remember if it was 125 or 250 or if he even did all the races. But I remember hearing his name.

Marco Dube won the 4-stroke class at this year's US Open, too.

Darcy Lange competes in the Speedstick Arenacross series, he finished 2nd overall last year behind Josh Demuth. He was injured badly at round 2 of the Canadian nationals the weekend after winning round 1.

I swear that mud race on Tuesday had me hootin' and hollerin' so much my girlfriend was worried the neighbors were gonna come knockin' .... I really have enjoyed watching the Canadian MX series ... I love the tracks and the racing is awesome ! You really should check this out if you haven't seen it ...

The mud was insane ... the guys could barely ride ... it was hysterical ... and the 1st 250 moto battle between Roy and Morgan was fierce ! Fantastic series.

Brad Hagseth races arenacross and successfully defended his 125 West Canadian Championship this year. I too got a real kick out of that mud race.

I watched it again on tape last night, the announcers are so into it, it makes it all the better. They were cracking me up and had me laughing out loud with them.
