That's with my ADSL. I've got a really good download speed, but my upload is still a little too slow. My wife and I both agree that our cable at least seemed faster. Today's probably not the best day to do it anyway (everyone's home due to the tropical storm). On-line gaming isn't as good as it should be with DSL.

I've been with Direcway (2 way) for about six months or so. I live in the boonies with dial-up being the only other choice. On a good day I connected at 26.4 kbps :( .
A couple of things I've found:
1. Okie's dead on with the tweaking, makes a big diff.
2. The dish is larger with this system than with the 18" dish for normal sat. TV. This make reception MUCH better during storms for TV and the internet connection. :thumb:
3. The weather in NY (for me) at the operations center can affect the connection.
4. If you have a hard time loading certain web pages, turning off the proxy usually corrects the problem.
