I bought my # 2 dream bike on **** this week, but it's in Lubbock, TX.

I'd be happy to pay some $$ if someone in central TX would pick it up and bring it to DW.

I'd prefer not to let the guy disassemble it to ship it.

Isn't it beautiful? :ride:

It's a 1978 XR75. It's almost exactly like the one my father never would buy for me. I gotta have a winter project.

It's therapy, man. THERAPY.

JP:

Danman isn't sure he is going to make it this year. Get me the info and I can get it. I go within 100 miles of Lubbock about every other week, and if you have looked at a map of Texas that is close in West Texas. :bang:

If Tony can't make it let me know. I have family out there about 30 miles away and should be making a trip out before DW. I know Tony is in the area often, but if it doesn't work out, let me know and I may can help out.

LOL. I thought I would just 'swing by' Lubbock on the way to DW.

Turns out it's only 7 hours out of the way.

 Thanks, Tony! I owe you. Pred suggested I get you a six pack and a lapdance, but I'm not that kinda girl. I could do dinner and some line dancing though. It's your call. ;)

So. . .on a scale of 1 - 10, how ugly is it? Does it look like it's worth $227.53?

It is a bit rough, but not that bad. There is only one small dent in the tank and the finish and decals appear original. I think the bars are after market. The front fender is original ( as I remember it). It is clearly worth what you paid for it as long as the engine isn't trashed.

I forgot ... the pipe is banged up as well and the seat is in fairly good shape.
