Looking for some info/help..........................
I am adjustin the slack in my chain for the first time. I was taking notes of a few things before I started to unloosen the rear axel nut.
I notice that the rear caliper mounting arm/housing has some play in it. Not side to side but back to front (moving in the same rotation as the wheel)
Is this normal??? Should the mounting arm/housing move?
I have checked the manual and there is not a reference for this.
I am unsure if the housing should be tight or loose once I apply the recommend torque value of 72 ft-lbs to the rear axel nut.
If I apply the full torque value the housing does not move. If I apply just under the recommended value it moves.
If anyone could shed some light on this it would be most appreciated
Thanks,
