I have 2 KDX 220's. One is a 98 and the other is an 03. I am going to get knew sprockets and chains soon. I am going to stick with the factory 13/47 sprocket configuration. The chain specs are 520/108.

I've been looking at Renthal sprockets, but they have only 48 tooth rears (smallest). Will this make a difference on my chain size?

What's a good brand 0-ring chain? I'm not looking for more torque, but I do expect the 48 tooth rear will change that a little.

Any other input on chains or sprocket makers would be appreciated.

Most chains come with 120 links.. So you're going to need to cut it down anyway.

I doubt that you will notice a 1 tooth difference in the rear.

Regina makes a damn fine oring chain

Hi RoadDawg, Renthal do make a 47T rear or at least their website says they do 'See it here'
The part number appears to be 112U-520-47GESI
Anywho, if you do go with a 48T and want to see how much of a gearing change it will make you can download an interactive Excel spreadsheet that will show you from 'Here'
