Asterisk has donated another set of braces this year to give away at DirtWeek '02. We're offering them in a drawing to be held at DW on Saturday, October 5.

The first 100 members to register for DirtWeek '02 will automatically be entered in the drawing. The drawing is limited to these 100 attendees.

If you register and then discover you won't be able to attend, your name will be removed from the drawing. Refunds will be sent within two weeks after the event. Winner must be present.

Full disclosure!
Why am I doing this? Pretty simple. Most people wait until the last minute to register, which means I have to front all the costs for the event... believe it or not, everyone wants their money as soon as we make an agreement with them :silly: . I'm hoping this will entice folks to register early, limiting the amount of $ I have to put up during the year, prior to the event.

Thanks for pre-registering and good luck! Someone is going to walk away with $550 worth of knee protection! Props to Asterisk for supporting DirtWeek '02!

PS. I'll be updating this thread soon:
1) With the names of everyone who registers and,
2) Rather or not AMA membership will be required this year (working on that now, looks like it Won't be required at this point, fingers crossed)

PSS. If you think there's plenty of time or that there will be less than 100 attending, guess again :) . We had 177 riders last year and expect that number to increase dramatically. :aj:

Point of clarification please, does the potential winner have to have attended dirt week or be present at the moment of the drawing? Just wondering b/c I, and I'm sure many others, won't be able to be there for the entire time. Will this mean we're not eligible if we are not there during the drawing but were there days before?

That's why we picked Saturday.... making the assumption that if someone comes for one day, that would be it.

If there is anyone that attends and has to leave before the drawing, they are still eligable. You will need to see me or one of the mods at DirtWeek to let us know.
