Hello,

I just changed my fork oil in my 99 YZ250. I was just wonding, you measure the oil height from the top of the fork down, with the fork spring removed and the upper part of the fork all the way down over the bottom part of the fork? If the fork was extended and you added oil to it there would be no place for the oil to go right? The Manual isn't very clear on this procedure.

You are right. Outer tube fully collapsed and internals all the way down. Get all the air out by working everything up and down several times. I stayed up late last night changing springs.
