C/S Removal

Put it in first gear (engine off, of course!) and remove the nut. It is a normal thread (i.e. lefty to loosen). If the engine turns over before the nut is loose, put the chain back on and have a buddy hold the rear brake on while you loosen the nut.

If you have an impact gun that will also do the trick.

if you don't have a buddy to hold the rear wheel while you loosen the bolt, put a long stick through the spokes which will catch on the swingarm and stop the wheel from spinning.
