ok, i've read so many jetting articles i can't think now....
my bike is set up pilot 48, main 180, needle A715 3rd position
so is 45, 178 Leaner or Richer??

people can just tell you what kind of jets to use...its all about the bike. Changing the octane will change the way the bike runs...good maybe....bad maybe. If you change the octane youll have to change your jetting.

Changing the pipe and silencer didn't change my jetting hardly at all. It was running rich to begin with, but you'll need to do more to accomodate for race gas.

crkid, did you leave your jetting stock after changing the pipe and silencer?

I did, but would recommend not doing so. It was running wayy too rich and fouling plugs, but the pipe and silencer didn't make it better or worse. Since then I have rejetted. Change the jets while you are working on it.
