I have a set of the Chatterbox FRS radios and am pleased by the performance. I previously used Collett 49 mhz units. The FRS unit have more range and batteries that easily last all day. Another advantage of the FRS units is that they are the same frequency as other FRS radios. I also use them on my road bikes but usually utilize the PTT feature while of the road bikes because the wind noise at higher speeds make it difficult to adjust the VOX..........CRX
