choke problem

the bike is a 99 cr125 with a fresh crank rod piston and bearings.

the problem is: i got the bike together and it finally got it to idle right with the choke up, as soon as i put the choke down it revs skyhigh. bike seems to idle very good with the choke on, and even driving it doesnt seem to be getting to much gas(even though the chokes on) its just as soon as i push the choke down it revs high. any idea of what can be causing the problem and what i can do to fix it?

when you replaced the rod piston and bearings did u get new seals? or use the old ones?

it was a package of 2 bearing and one black seal if im not mistaken. im pretty sure i did.

i had this problem before

check and see if the throttle cable is in a bind and pulled out of the top of the carb if this happens you will have these symptoms

i took off the trottle cable and totally rerouted it.

When trying to start my son's crf50 with the choke on, it revs up high, then it stalls out. It ran great before this problem started... ANY SUGGESTIONS?
