Choke question.

The bike 1987 yz 125 bore out. First off, when my choke is off and i hit the throttle on my bike it sputters..when i have the choke out it screams and rips. Is the any reason why this is happening? Rejet it? clean carb? I read from other fourms that to leave the choke on but wont it burn a hole in my pistons if i do so?

other forums suck, clean the carb. assuming you have a fresh top end clean filter, fresh fuel etc. if it persists rejet . if you are a novice at jetting, then do a search on spankys jetting guide :cool:

Vintage bob, thats what i was told. Not sure if its true or not. Thats why i was asking :) Ellandoh yes i have a fresh top end, clean filter, fresh gas.
