Labor Day weekend on Saturday August 31, there will be a hare scrambles in Christmas MI about 40 miles east of Marquette. The course is about 4 miles long with a fun mx track and tight woods. If anyone knew Mark Knox, a former michigan hare scrambles champ, this is his hometown, hence this is the 2nd annual Mark Knox memorial Hare Scrambles. Because the race is on Saturday, one could make a weekend out of it because on Sunday and Monday they could go over to Marquette and ride the enduro trails as there should be a lot of people in town.
