I have just had my 98 KDX200 resleeved after the piston took a heap of the chrome off the original, the new sleeve is steel question is does anyone know what sort of life span the replacement sleeve will have in comparison to the original, will I have to do top ends more often? Plus I was advised by the engineer who resleeved that I have to go up 2 sizes on the main jet to help keep the cylinder cooler as a steel bore runs hotter. This means i have gone from a 160 main to a 175!!!...seem very rich  .....I also picked up a 170 just in case. I havent run the engine in yet but after putting it all back together it started 3rd kick and seemed to run fine down low. Question is how can I tell if the jetting is right if I cant open the throttle until the engine is run in?
