I have heard that one should clean out the airbox while servicing the filter, but this seems like it would lets tons of dirt into the airboot. What's the secret method to do this without getting your airboot full of dirt? I am talking about removing all the mud and dirt on the inside of the aitbox for those that don't know...

You need to buy a cover that sits over the filter hole.Or you can remove the entire subframe and really get the whole lot clean. It really doesnt take long.

acerbis makes a plastic filter cover that allows you to pressure wash inside your air box. they are like 22$ and just about every place carries them(websites) i bought mine from dennis kirk. they work awesome and its a great way to clean your box w/o worrying about dirt getting to your carb.
