I'm trying to clean the top end on my '86 Yamaha XT350...
I've been getting it alot cleaner with wire brushes and all. But, the valves are still in it, so I'm guessing it would be a BAD idea to use a power washer on it, or soaking it in a chemical...
Any tips??? What would be the best thing to do?
BTW: I'm rebuilding the intire engine... should I have the valves replaced???? If I do, the dealer said its gonna cost about $40 a valve... 40 X 4 = $160.... I really dont want to drop THAT MUCH more into it then I already have....
Help?
