Hi all,
I am having a bit of a problem I hope you can help me out with. when I pull in the clutch and put it into gear, it doesn't seem to be completly disengaging the clutch, as it will die unless I give it some gas while it is in gear. I have tried and tried to adjust the cable and have got it better, but not fixed. I have read a lot of posts of people having this problem, but haven't seemed to find a cure, any suggestions?

does your bike idle for a while when just sitting in neutral, because if it doesn't then you might just be able to adjust the idle to fix the problem.

If you have the appropriate amount of free play at the lever and this still happens then it is time to tear apart the clutch to inspect the internals. The most common cause is a notched clutch basket or worn fiber plates.
