Clutch dragging

Hi all,
Heres the question.. Whjat would cause the clutch too drag in first gear?? THis bike is on its 3rd clutch.. It just started doing it.. Is it as simple as a cable adjustment??

The KXs are prone to notching the basket. How does yours look.

I just looked in my owners manual and they also reccomended the basket.. I will tear it apart later this week.. Thanks again,
