The clutch on my 2000 220 has been redone this spring with new rings and springs and a new cable. It is really hard to pull now. I heard i might need to oil up the cable?
Any thoughts on what i could try to make it pull a bit easier so i dont' cramp up my hand everytime i have to shift?
Maybe you need a new cable. There are newer options available that offer less internal friction. Personally I only use dry film lube on my drive chain and clutch cable. Using a wet lube like oil will help trap dirt, & grit which help make the cable drag more in the housing.
