Clutch Shoes-KTM 50...help

Installing new clutch shoes in a KTM Air Cooled 50cc Mini-adventurer.
When I get to the retainer bolt, it has 3 washers on it of different sizes. Can I take any of the washers off to make the bike react faster or do you leave all 3 in and that is the best I can get out of the bike??
