cold weather setup?

hello all I just got my frame back from powdercoating and I want to do some cold weather riding
the jetting on my bike is alittle rich in warm weather so how whould I change it for cold do you have to make it richer or leaner for cold weather riding?
I don't know to much about jetting so please explain every thing also do I mix my gas the same mixture or change it the weather I want to ride in could be from -6 to -30 about
my bike is a 1990 yz 125
would it be hard to start it usualy starts now on the 3rd kick
should I use diff. oil in the gearbox
is there anything I'v forgotten?

The changes that I would make would be one richer on the main and the pilot as a starting point. Tis has to do with the air being denser in the cold which makes you bike run leaner. Adjust from there as necessary. Also, run lighter weight tranny oil as it tends to get thicker in the cold. I would not change you premix at all. If you do though, you may want to add a little more oil to your gas. This will help protect your top end a little better in the cold as things tend to get brittle. Also, due to the added stiction that the cold air provides, may want to lighten up on your suspension compression and rebound. May also ant to add more coolant to your coolant\water mixture. One last thought; Always make sure that you warm up your enine slowly in the cold. Never start it and then Immediatly crack the throttle wide open. Let it gradually get warm and then twist away. Have fun.

so will the bike be realy hard to start?
is it bad on the fork seals?
I heard that they rip if you use them when they are frozen

Should'nt be to hard to start. Just use your choke. The fork seals should be OK. Just spray some key areas with WD-40 or silicon spray, like around the fork seals. I used to ride in the winter alot when I lived in CNY. Man is that alot of fun. Some people may never realize how fun Snow Berms can be. :)
