Corn Maze time

This is my annual shameless plug for my family's Corn Maze.

Going up to take pictures of my family's corn maze is what set me on the path to get my PPL. This year I took my nephew up for his first flight in a small plane. As an added bonus, he also got to see the farm from 1500 ft.

This years theme is "Butterfly n Blossom. See if you can make out the design.

No, right now I'm pretty much stalled on the build. So I did what any reasonable person would do. I bought a plane to fly. At some point I'll get motivated and finish it up, but for right now it's on the back burner.

lol, you mean that spot in the top right corner? That was a MX practice track. It got shut down by the locals. Too bad, it was a nice little track too. Plus, I could legally ride my bike there through the woods.

I do ride the trials bike through the maze to work on cornering.

Scooter, I'm probably not going to make it this year :(.

What kinda plane did you buy? A cessna or what?

I bought into a Cessna 172k. It's a co-ownership deal with 5 other guys. Two of them don't have medicals, one is away most weekends for work, and the other two fly maybe once a month from what I've seen so far. So pretty much I have the plane when I want it.
