I have a 1995 kx250 and I weigh 185 without gear, should i go with a .42 kg or a .44 kg fork spring? I couldnt find my model at MX-tech, race tech recommended .44, using their site i came up with .43; but, they only sell a .42 or a .44. I hope to be losing weight is there a big difference between .42 and .44? I am a average rider and ride motocross (mostly at monster mountain),
thanks Mike H

Definitely go with the .44,if you ride MX. Eibach sells the odd sizes, .41,.43, and so on. but when I've had them measured, they were not accurate.Race tech springs have always been accurate.

44 and you could tun out the comp adj and maybe run a little less oil level and the forks could feel a little plusher. If thats what you want to acheiv

Thanks for the help, I got my springs today they are .44's, I almost sent them back thinking they are to stiff, my weight dropped to 183, 180 when i wake up, anyway i weighed with all my gear and it's 203! I was thinking 15 lbs for gear at the most. oh well i guess i will find out Saturday if i got the right ones, Bird

Should work good because if I recall in 95 that stock rear shock vaving was too stiff and forks too soft , When you install those springs you should change out the fork oil alsoand run about 100mm oil height 5wt a little higher if it bottoms too much but not much higher . Set the rear sag properly and you will have a more balanced bike that should feel more stable. GOOD LUCK DEAN

I rode it yesterday, whoops are even fun now, it turns better and is seems more predictable jumping, landings are smoother and I don't feel the little bumps as bad in my wrist, Thanks
