Cost of attending MMI/getting certified

I was looking forward to attending MMI in Phoenix, but I got the cost of tuition for getting certified in all 4 Japanese manufacturers, plus the watercraft certification. It was going to be almost $18,000. All of their financial aid is in the form of loans or grants, which my family makes just enough money to disqualify me for. (Slightly upper-middle class). My question is, since Honda and Yamaha are the 2 most popular brands, and Kawasaki and Suzuki are kind of forming an alliance, do any of you that work at a bike shop or in the powersports industry think that if I just got Honda and Yamaha certified, plus watercraft certified, would I still be able to get a good-paying job at a large, high-volume dealership that sells other brands besides Honda and Yamaha, or doesn't even sell Hondas and Yamahas? I'm curious as to how much weight the MMI graduation carries on an applicant's resume. I'm thinking that the push for four-strokes is just going to increase demand for good mechanics in the powersports industry, so if I get certified by MMI, my job horizon will look good. What do y'all think?
