Hey all,
just gettin back to putting everything back together on my 89 KDX 200, after having to split the cases. Well i went down to my dealer and they couldn't get any manuals in for a few weeks for some reason, so i would really appreciate it if anyone could give me a few torque specs. Heres what i need:
-Case bolts
-Right cover bolts, clutch cover, water pump cover
-Cylinder nuts, head nuts, engine mount bolts/nuts
-Flywheel bolt, main gear nut on crank

I think thats everything, but if i missed something please feel free to chime in! I just spent $80 on a new torque wrench, itching to use it.

Thanks again!

Ok here we go:all foot lbs *Some are in inch pounds as noted*
Engine top end:
cyl head nuts 18;
spark plug 20;
cyl nuts 18;
engine bracket mount bolts all 22;
engine valve operating nut 74 in lbs***left hand thread***
Engine right side:
external shift mechanism return spring pin 14.5;
clutch spring bolts 82 in lbs;
clutch hub nut 58;
primary gear nut 58;
water pump impeller bolt 61 in lbs;
kick pedal nut 36;
Flwheel nut 47;
tranny drain bolt 17;
there does not seem to be a setting for any of the case bolts but I believe they are all 5 or 6 ft lbs- waterpump,clutch cover,engine cases etc:
to convert inch lbs to foot lbs divide by 12
I believe these are most of the engine ones you will need straight from the manual hope it helps...
