Is it necessary to cover the radiators when riding in cold weather?
Where I live it is around 14F (or -10C).
I ride on frozen lakes and enduro in the woods.
I have now covered 1/3 of the top of the radiators, is that ok?

I've also heard of people covering their radiators on their Yamaha Banshees with cardboard to prevent freezing and breakage. I've road in very cold weather with some old liquid cooled bikes before and never covered my radiators tho...

People here in Canada ride year long and it gets to -30 degrees, I have never seen cardboard? Also there is a 24hour ice race, and when I look at the pics I have I see no cardboard?
