cr125: Please help !!!!!!!

Hi there i bought a 1993 CR125. I am not sure if its a 1993. But the previous owner asures me!!!

How do i know if its a geniune 1993??? Is there some markings or something ?? Some1 told me to look at the vin number ??? Wat is a vin number??? And were is it on the bike??? And wat digit is the year of the bike ???? Please help , ASAP.

Look at the right side steering neck area

The VIN should be there on the round area between upper neck and lower neck bearings.
I am not up on Honda vins= "Vehicle Identification Number" but right down the number and call your local dealer they can tell you.
OR call your local insurance agent they can also tell you.

check the 10th digit of the VIN.

Hi there ,today i bought a cr125. I was told its a 1993 but when i got there the owner told me its a 1992.The vin number is barely visible.And the bike has be re-sprayed. Is there any other way to know for sure if its a 1992 ? I can email you a pic of the bike.

And another thing i wanted to know if my bike is a 1992, what other CR's (year) have similar parts and plastics that will fit on my 1992 ???
