The first thing is to make sure the shock hasnt blown a seal. Is there any oil on the shock shaft where it exits the body? Does it compress and rebound smoothly or does it feel loose and bouncy? T hen wind the top adjuster all the way in and then turn it back out 12 clicks, this is your compression adjuster. On the bottom of the shock you will find the rebound adjuster, set this the same as you did the compression adjuster. You then need to check and set your shock sag. As a rough guide set it so the rear of the bike sags
20mm with no rider aboard This sag can be reduced or increased by loosening or tightening the the nuts on top of the shock spring . If none of this helps the shock may need a rebuild. Good luck.
