CR Idleing

Can anyone tell me if it is normal for my CR to rev up and down at idle? I am new to this and think that it is not but not sure what to check. The bike has been sitting for awhile, but runs great also. Any help would be appreciated. It is only at IDLE I notice this. Thanks!

sounds lean on the pilot. how easy it it to start cold?

well it did have a little of a starting issue when we got it to the trail head. The bike is not definetly running rich, hardly if any spooge on the fender, very slight. So once started cold it ran a little abnormal like the idleing but would also stall once starting out in first. I am just not sure with what to start with. Thanks again.

yeah I just want to mention it was cold out like 50's. Is there a meet point for all varing temps that is if the bike is running lean. I am thinking jetting. Help!

Check your left crank seal, below the magneto rotor. Will cause an air leak and abnormal idle. Easy fix but you will need a magneto puller.

Try turning in your airscrew 1/2 turn for cold starting or running in cold weather. This will richen a little. Cold weather will require slightly richer jetting, and some of these bikes are very sensitive to the air screw. The previous owner probably jetted it for best throttle response in warmer weather and wasn't worried about idle.
