Finally got my 01 CR250 back together after a full rebuild all seemed to go well and on the first ride it ran sweet until I got to a high speed section where under load I noticed the bike was reluctant to change up, I tried a couple of times to get into 3rd but each time when it should have clicked into 4th I was still left in 3rd... after backing off the power and coasting it happily changed up. Any ideas what this could be? I run motul transoil and had no problems like this before the rebuild. The only thing I noticed during the rebuild was the clutch basket was slightly notched and also there was a steel plate missing from the clutch assembly which I replaced with a new one, and adjusted the cable. I can't think of anything I did wrong during the assembly which went well, the bike clicks through all the gears nicely while on the stand in the shed. Any ideas appreciated. ;)
