CR125 no-spark HELP ASAP

Going ridin (hopefully) with my son next weekend, but I gotta fix his bike first, so I need some help.

1995 CR125R

Absolutely no spark. nada. zero.

New stator from Ricky Stator
New (used) CDI (black box)
New spark plug (tried 3 of them)
all parts are within resistance specs as per the manual, high volt wire (0 ohms), cap (.5 kohm), everthing looks great
all contacts clean

I've checked everything, and there is NO SPARK! Even put the old stator & CDI back on, to no avail.

HELP, he's gonna KILL me if we cant go riding before he goes back to school!!!!!

alrighty then....

guys, I'm about to cry here. We're supposed to go riding tommorrow @ Hollister for a long weekend, and his bike just wont spark. I am at my wits end!!!!!

Someone PLEASE provide some advice - I cannot afford to go get ripped off @ the bike shop...
