cr125 vs rm 250

im getting a new bike soon and ive seen 2 bikes i liked at a local dealer one of them is a 01 rm 250 and a 02 cr 125 both are in great shape roughly same price. im movin up from a ttr-90 and was leaning towards the 125 but someone told me that 250's are eaiser to ride then 125s? also is it possiable to lower the seat height on the bikes a couple inches im only 5'6 110 lbs. :| thanx

I would reccomend a kx85, or 100. Possibly an rm85. A ttr90 to rm250 would not be a good idea. A 125 if you step up to a big bike. going from 4 horsepower to 44 would be like going from a bicycle to a formula 1 car.

i was lookin at the kx 100 but i want a bike i can grow into not grow out of in 6 months. and im about 5' 6'' and growing like a weed. thanx for the advice

CR125. You'll kill yourself on the 250, as it is the 125 will be a handful for you.

What's the seat height for a CR125? I'm 5'7" and I was wondering if it would be too much bike for me to handle.

well i just got a 03 yz250 and im gonna tell you it scare's me and i have been riding since i was like 6 (im 15 now ) and 140 pound 5'8

and iv ridden other way faster bikes then an ttr90 in those years so if i were u look at 80 or 85cc moto bike

the seat height on the cr125 is 37.4'' i think. but if i need to my dad is a expert machanic and he can lower it some.

well hes an ex machanic. he had a transmission business's but then it went sour. but hes good

My son is 5-6 119, and he rides a 2001 CR 125. Rides it very well, in fact. He moved up from an XR 80.
