What affect would putting a CR250 carb on a CR125 have?....It's a 01 Mikuni TMX 11a....on a 99 CR125...I know they put this carb on a 97 YZ125...but with very different jets?....Has anyone experimented with this combination?.....

Thanks
Mark

It can be done just with some motor work and extensive jetting. A bit pricier than you probably thought. A lot more involved than just putting it on. Just becuase it is bigger doesn't mean it is going to flood your engine.

You need to find the right jetting.

No problem! What is more to say? I've changed a 26mm carburetor for a 28mm carburetor on a Sherco 2.5 (trials bike) and the only thing to do was to find a larger "tube" that connects the air box to the carburetor and find the correct jetting.
