I have a guy who wants to trade me his 96 cr250 and a $1000 for my 02 rm250 is this a good deal. I kinda wanted to get a aluminum frame but i just want somthing to ride for the summer till i get a new bike. I want the money for my new gsxr.
At the end of the day your still going to have a 10 year old dirt bike if you take the trade. A 10 year old bike is easy to put 1000.00 into to make it right. If your bike is cherry then I would keep it. I have a 1995 kx250 and its in great shape. If someone had a late model 2-t 250 and wanted to trade I would do it in a heart beat just to have something newer, more reliable and up to date.
