Just found a small coolant leak around the base of the spark plug, and I am pretty sure it is comming from the head and not a coolant hose.
I read were the '04 had an improved head to run better on pump gas. Can I use the '04 head (or '05?) on my '03 RM 250?
Bonus question. I have a Varner motor and believe that the head was shaved (likely .5mm) and would assume it has double base gaskets. Would putting a new head (and leaving the base gaskets alone) create a problem.
I have a call into Varner, but need to order parts quickly in order to be ready for a race this weekend.
