I have a honda crf 230f and when i start it, it doesnt idle and will kill if you let off the throttle. It takes about 20 minutes to warm up and stay idling even in the summer. It runs good after that though. Does anyone know whats going on?

Clean your carb. If that doesn't help, it may need to be jetted properly for your conditions.

Did you blow all of the passages in the carb out with compressed air?

Or did you just spray it down with carb cleaner?

I see you don't know where you live.. That might be a good place to start..

Jetting is affected by weather and elevation.. You need to jet for the current conditions.
