CRF Lighting Coil???

What is required to install a headlight on to a CRF 230? Does it already have a lighting coil... in which case I assume a standard acerbis &/or UFO headlight would plug in??

Or, do I have to purchase a lighting coil.

I don't have a direct answer, but try looking at www.electrexusa.com. If they don't list one on the site, give them a call. They don't show all the applications on their site. Hope that helps.

Call them, the CRF450 does not come with a battery since it's a race bike. The CRF230F has an electric start so it already has a battery and most likely enough to power a light. Don't know for sure but I did check on a lighting kit for my wife's TTR125LE and it's a whole lot easier for her bike than the TTR125L, was told that Yamaha even included the connector for the headlight stock but just left the light off. Honda may have done the same with the CRF230F but I'd check with baja.

I`am wondering the same thing. About being able to add lights to a Yamaha TTR 230. Anybody know or should I check with the dealer first?
