I'm really thinking of buying a CRF , but just hard pressed to leave my CR250 for it ?

Convince me ... why should I go 4-stroke

Or do I ?

Power delivery is there from the bottom all the way to the rev limiter. It puts the power to the ground, even on hard pack. I like it cornering better but the 250 has the advantage in the air. No more mixing gas. And they sound really freeking cool.

CR "Pros" Light, easy to care for, turns great
"cons" down on power, you got to be busy with the clutch and left foot.

CRF "Pros" (insert Tim Allen grunts) MORE POWER!!!! And not just more, great easy to use power.
"cons" You can feel the weight, harder to muscle a "correction" if you make a mistake, more care - checking Valves and oil changes.

I'd get the CRF for the motor. If you ask "CRF vs. YZ250", the choice gets much tougher.
