Hey guys I've got a 06 crf250r that I am currently riding and love it to death. I am currently running a 13:50 combo and it works great for the moto track and miscellaneous riding. But, when I follow my dad on his kdx in the tight nasty woods I find that this combo is a little tall. I have heard that a 13:52 or a 13:53 is a pretty good combo, but the your talking $60 minimum for a good rear sprocket. Would a 12:50 be too radical? It would be a lot cheaper. How much top speed will i loose? Also, if lower the gearing will the gears get shorter too, or will they just stay the same length and just move down in the spectrum? Thanks alot guys.
