Stock is 13/48.
I just put 13/49 and like it better but then again I have a Yoshimura pipe which gives 1/3 more additional overev.
So by adding the 49 i lost some overev and gain a lot of thrust out of corners , but the overev I lost probably now leaves me with roughly the stock overev feel.
I added an ignition box to get some of the overev back and it worked.
Also, when I went up 1 tooth in rear I had a weird pinging/rattling noise coming from the front of the engine. It turned out to be the chain was rubbing the mud guard and slapping the rear swing arm. I adjusted the chain and the noise went away.
I think if you put a 49 on and you have a stock pipe you might feel that you lost a lot of overev and will have to shift way too much. From my personal thoughts, I would leave the gearing as is if you have the stock pipe. One tooth change on the four stroke is way more noticable in comparison to changing one tooth on a two stroke engine. (unless you ride tight tracks all the time)
