i heard that the shimms in the crf are not titaniam coated and that they wear quiker then in a yzf, rmz, kxf. is this true and has any one got more info on it.

You are experiencing shim wear?I have never heard of that one,I thought they were made from unobtanium!

You got bad information. The valve shims don't wear out. Valve wear is another matter entirely.
