I have a 2004 KLR650 and a number of spare front forks from previous bikes. I am interested in having my DRZ400 forks grafted to the KLR. Ideally I want to retain the instrument cluster and ignition switch and have some really good looking clamps. Not withstanding prices, how could I have some clamps made to specifications ?

Appreciated.

Sincerely,
TR

If I remember correctly, Patman had a custom set of triple clamps made for his XR/KX graft. They were done by Emig Racing. He called them up, told them what he wanted to do and they took care of it. Good Luck!!

I guess you could also go to your local tecnical school and see if they have a CNC machining class that might want to take it to task. It might turn out to be a good learning experience for the students.

And you would probably end up getting it for pretty cheap too!
