An hours drive to the moose run and my bike dies 4 minutes into the race:yikes: . Now, I know I needed rings but figured I would push it:bang: . Needless to say when I got back to the shop and tore it down the top ring had clipped the valve just a wee bit:whoa: . Now I think it goes without saying(but of course I'll type it anyway) I NOW need rings and a piston to boot. But I am curious........how bad does the cylinder wall need to be before I consider replating. Also.....the sleeve option is about as attractive as taking a bath with a toaster so save the skin on your fingers for that one
