Db level on a 400 SX

I was wondering if a 2001 400 SX is much louder (or louder at all) than its MXC or EXC sibling? I need to stay under 96 db and will either get the Pro Moto Billet cap for the stock SX muffler (need spark arrestor), get a used EXC or MXC stock muffler or get a FMF Q. I prefer the Pro Moto solution since it's the lowest cost solution to get legal. I can't guess because they are strict at Nor Cal Enduros.

Any ideas?

I can't speak to the others, but I put an FMF Q on my 2002 400SX which has the Thumper 450 kit in it. At the Jackhammer, it registered 94db in the sound test. I am quite happy with the power it produces as well. There seems to be little difference from the original silencer as far as power goes.
