Delaminating 2001 KTM seat

My new 300 EXC seat is delaminating and KTM is going to replace it for free. I am looking at the One Industries seat cover and graphics (e.g. Shane Watts) and was wondering if that seat cover holds up or does it experience the same fate as the stock KTM seat.

KTM seems to have gone backwards with this. My '98 and '99 both did this, they had a good, simple cover for '00, and now the new ones are more like the old ones. The ONE Industries and SLICK gripper covers I had were excellent. All of the gripper covers are more rubberized and you won't have a delamination problem.

is ktm going to reimburse you for whatever cover you buy? i thought they would just replace it with their own seat cover?

My understanding from the local dealer is that they will give me the K-Style seat cover or pay up to that amount for any other seat cover. If the seat cover exceeds the K-Style price I will have to pay the difference.
