Splenda is also used in Diet RC. Same bottling company (dr. pepper), but diet rite has no caffiene, diet rc has it. Good stuff! And none of the funny nervous feelings i get from diet coke.
Can't wait til they put it in Dr. Pepper.
With a tiny bit of research you can find out who kept splenda out of the U.S. for so long.
By the way, splenda is also in one version of Blue Bunny low carb ice cream.

But water is still better!

When it comes to hydrating yourself, I have heard more bad things about the caffiene in pop than about the aspartame. I have read that for every serving of a caffienated product you should drink 2x's as much water. Reason being is caffeine is a dieretic, and will make you lose water.

I agree with 4EO...I used to drink soda all the time and ended up with all sorts of UTI's...for you guys out there, the more dehydrated you are the more likely you are to end up with kidney stones and things like that. Kidney, bladder, and urinary tract infections are very harmful and, take it from the expert (I've had em all...now 75% of my beverages are water!), they SUCK!

Try 3 kidney stones the size of gobstobbers or bubble gum balls in one kidney. I've had 4 surgeries for stones, trust me, those SUCK!!!

When you drink caffinated beverages the caffeine goes through and strips your body of all the water. It's best to stay clear of soda's, coffee, and drinks like red bull when your riding hard.

Water, water, water!
