Dirt Bike - Self-Storage Space

I'm moving to a place where I will not be able to keep my dirt bike nor mountain bike with me, and I will need space for them as well as tools, gasoline (can), ramp, gear bag, tent, camp stove, ice chest, and misc. spares.

Anyone out there use/rent those self-storage units? What kind of space should I get? 4x6? 5x10 seems a bit big.

your bike is about 7 feet long. a 4x6 would be very cramped. you'd have to turn your bike slightly sideways which would waste more room. go bigger.

Get one on the outside, not on an inside corridor. Be sure and ask about security. We have had one broken into along with about 50 others on the same night. I would go larger than the 5x10 even. You will be suprised how quickly it fills up.
