DR 200SE and DR-Z 400S

i have never owned a dirt bike before, im 15 5'7 135lbs and looking to buy a dirt bike. I went to a dealer this weekend and looked at the suzuki DR 200SE and the DR-Z 400S for my dad. If anybody has any info on these bikes, or any sugestians that would be realy helpful,
