hey everyone, just wanted to remind people to tune up their rig as well as their bike when making a long trip. Some of us neglect the vehicles a bit but it's always a good idea to have a fresh oil change and top off all the fluids before long trips. I just had a new set of tires put on my pickup and am all ready to git :)
Only 2 weeks exactly til it's time to hit the road.

I decided to wash my truck today, in preparation for the big trip (translation, it rained).

Anybody coming with a vehicle with MORE THAN 193,000 miles on it?

Just got my Bed-Xtender from the UPS guy yesterday, he brought me 4 boxes from Amsoil today so I'll be doing filters, oil and diff. lube (got a Mag-Hytec cover too) this weekend. Then off to the alignment shop (my driveway is trailworthy). If I'm lucky I'll get it washed and waxed.

gsr,
the Skynyrd is for my 300 mile* drive to casa de gsr/TTRGuy.
For the trip to IL I was thinking along the lines of Conway Twitty.

* if you live less than this distance from LTM & are not going you must be Sally from Nancyville.

I have been a Johhny Cash fan since I was a little kid - honestly.
I listen to mostly hard rock & speed metal, but I do have 12 of his albums.
Bizarre that you should mention him.

Jonny Cash is actually pretty good! My brother got the album "Live at Folsom Prison" and although I never though I could listen to it, I enjoyed it alot. Sorry to get OT, just had to comment there!
