I have an 02' KDX220 which I really love... BUT, Most of my riding is on a large open track. I find myself wanting more...often. I'm also taking a shot at hillclimbing. The KDX didn't fair well 2st time out. Ran shy on power...

Any opinions on the 02' KX250? I know with some bikes there are good and bad years, bad haven't heard much on the KX...?

Keep the KDX and get the KX too. It is a great bike on a MX track! IMHO, the '02 was the last year for the most comfortable/versitile MX bike ever made. It shines on the track. I love it, gobs of torque too. It would probably work well for hill climbs too. The stock springs work great for me...180lbs w\gear. At the track, I ride my KX, on the trails/woods I ride my KDX. Here's more info on the KX... http://www.motorcycledaily.com/05december01kawasaki2002kx250.html
